Why Queensland

A Strategic Choice for Bast and Seed Crop Production

Wandarra has chosen Townsville in Northern Queensland as its headquarters because this region offers some of the best soil, high rainfall and temperate climate all ideal for growing high-yielding Bast and Seed crops.

Support from Local Farmers and Government

In Northern Queensland, much of region grows sugar cane which requires a fallow period or cropping break. With the backing of both the farming community and the government, Wandarra is introducing crops like hemp, and other sustainable crops through cooperative agreements with licensed farmers to meet the growing demand for plant-based protein and other hemp based products.
